On September 26, the ensemble Mcheli will bring the voices of our ancestors to life on the SKENE stage, performing ancient ritual songs from every region of Georgia. ๐ฌ๐ช
Mcheliโs repertoire draws on old field recordings and collections of musical notation, some of which were compiled by the ensembleโs director, Ketevan Baiashvili.
This is a performance that brings together traditional Georgian attire, voice, and spirit.
The concert will be accompanied by natural wine.
